Ginmiya House in Lancaster

Great experience with my sons. I got the first Japanese bento box which was so good but I think I overdid it considering what I had for lunch. My boys took some of their food to go. I used to get food to go here for years. This was the first time I have been here in quite a while. I miss seeing the friendly man who worked here until he passed away 3 years ago. Life often brings troubles and changes and we suffer in its wake.

This place is a gem hidden in Manor shopping center. I will be back when in the area

Excellent food we enjoyed everything we had sushi we had Thai food and even Chinese food plus desert. I highly recommend this restaurant it is very unassuming from the outside but when you enter you will be served meal that you will thoroughly enjoy.

Great food. I have minor critiques but that's just me being picky. Sushi was on point, black pepper tuna was perfect.

Dude, I dont know what kinda tape they use for their takeout soup, but I had a deer run in front of me at 50mph and the soup hit my dashboard with the force of 1000 suns. Not a single drop was spilled and the only thing holding it closed was a piece of tape

Nice owners, good food, BYOB. There are TVs which is unfortunate, but becoming more common. (And which I hate.) Otherwise your classic local Chinese food and sushi place.

I frequent Ginmaya every few months. The service is always excellent, the food is always delicious and it always looks great. Highly recommend checking it out for a variety of flavors.

Friendly service, the sushi is always perfect! Its always perfectly fresh tasting, smooth, buttery, crunchy, and spicy. Everything you need to scratch that sushi itch. I dine solo at the sushi bar and the care and beauty they put into my sushi is truly art, especially giving me my own sushi boat!

Best sushi I've had in Lancaster so far. Staff is friendly and helpful. Everything else there is great as well but I go for sushi at least once a month.

Ginmiya is one of the best places for good cuisine. And the women who work here make the experience twice as great! Everyone is so nice!

What a let down, general tso’s Chicken is all breading, no flavor. Come on, it’s not that hard to use real chicken. Won’t be going back.

Best sushi in Lancaster hands down. Always exceptionally great! The staff is amazingly friendly and curiosity. Orders are taken quickly. Food is brought out promptly. It is always delicious and presentation is amazing. Great prices too!If you haven't been there it's definitely a place to go.

Consistently great sushi. Always friendly staff. They understand customer service. Sushi is fresh and beautifully presented. Generous portions and fair prices. I use to be an Ichban fan, but I have to say this place has surpassed them for my top place for sushi in Lancaster. They always throw in something extra on the house with my bigger orders. They have an incredible lunch special on select sushi rolls. 3 rolls for $10! And they have that same special on Saturday as well which you don't usually get at restaurants. Don't pass this place by. It's a slightly hidden gem.

Great neighborhood Chinese restaurant. They also do Japanese and Thai, but they are really a Chinese restaurant. That said, the sushi is among the best in the city. Don’t get too excited by that; we don’t have great sushi here! But it will scratch that itch for you if you need some sushi in your life. Always friendly service. Always on time. Always the correct order. Great place!

Good food and good price

This is my go to place for Chinese and Japanese cuisine - their sushi is always great and their fried dumplings make for a wonderful appetizer. Located right around the corner from my house, we have never had to wait more than 20 minutes to pick up our carryout order no matter how large. Love you guys!

Best sushi in Lancaster, great service & Thai menu

Pretty standard. Wait staff aren't as attentive as I would like but they do the job for the most part outside of refilling drinks.

My husband and I didn't actually eat here but rather order from Carryout Courier. It was absolutely delicious and surpassed what I expected. I simply wanted "regular basic Chinese food" but we got more than that.

This is a very quiet little place. The employees are very friendly and do a great job. The food is always good. Tofu is great and the veg sushi is awesome. Get the dragon role it is worth it.

Food is great and fresh! Employees are always sweet. My go to is the mu shu vegetable, spicy tuna roll, and hot and sour soup! I live only a few minutes away and order from them at least once a week. I also love that they have great vegetarian and special diet menu options for those of us counting calories.

The sushi is always perfect. The staff are super friendly and made an effort to get to know us by name. Their lunch special is affordable and the service is quick. We eat there regularly, but its also our go-to for special occasions. Always a great experience.
